In 1949, Mr. Kihachiro Onitsuka began his athletic footwear company (Onitsuka Co., Ltd.) by manufacturing basketball shoes out of his living room in Kobe, Japan. these are the best shoes, especially for people with above average arches and insteps. This is my 3rd pair, light weight and comfortable.

I have only run a few miles on these shoes, and so far, so good. I have worn ASICS for many years including a couple of old Trabucos (perhaps Trabuco IV, and Trabuco VI), and ASICS has never been a disappointment.
They feel pretty comfortable; my feet are on the wide side, and still, these shoes are roomy enough when compared with other brands.
My only complain is about the colour; I don't like PINK, but actually, the combination with dark silver isn't too bad.

I went to Asics website and did the evaluation to find the right shoe for me based on my arch and where I was going to be running (trail for me). Used them first on a treadmill then did 8 miles on the trail the other day and they were great! No blisters and my feet felt awesome! Great shoe!
